Volk
In early years Volk discovered spraying for himself and quickly made a name for himself in the graffiti scene. He kept himself afloat with part-time jobs because he does not want to become dependent on his art to this day.
In 2009, Volk found Stencils Streetart. In addition to graffiti, painting with brush and acrylic paint was another passion for him.
A trademark is the use of wrapping paper as canvas. His art is not about the perfect brushstroke, but instead the colors, and shapes flow, play with each other and give each motif an unmistakable vitality.
His muse is his daughter! He has been painting her since she was three years old. Volk interprets the development in a visual form and just like his daughter, his pictures grow, become more thoughtful and grown-up. The viewer is taken on a journey to see the world from his point of view if he is open to it.
With his motives he succeeds in stimulating reflection and shows that it is worthwhile to question oneself.

Unser Ziel, bei diesen Werken... den Charakter der Straße einzufangen. Ganz wird dies nie gelingen. Gefühlt für mich nahe dran, ist das Werk "MONDBLUME". Ein Original, Paste-Up verklebt mit der gleichen Technik der Straße. Auf einem Hintergrund gewählt, fotografiert vom Künstler in seiner Heimatstadt. Mit dieser Werk kannst du ein Stück Berliner Geschichte im Original, eine neue Heimat schenken.
